ImageTrend Completes Testing with CMS for NEMSIS V3.5 Submissions

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [May 23, 2022] - ImageTrend, Inc. furthers its alignment with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service’s (CMS) Emergency Triage, Treat and Transport (ET3) program with the completion of testing National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) V3.5 submissions. Agencies documenting the latest NEMSIS datasets using ImageTrend Elite™ will continue to seamlessly submit data directly to CMS, allowing providers to choose the best possible treatment plan for patients and ensure proper reimbursement.

This development is the latest for facilitating reimbursements for providers treating in place or transporting to an alternative destination. Elite users participating in the ET3 program will be able to utilize all features within their system to ensure complete documentation for NEMSIS V3.5 or V3.4 datasets for patient encounters that meet ET3 requirements.

“Elite is continuously developed to keep agencies on the forefront in the care and services they provide to their communities,” mentioned Kaylen Irwin, Data Specialist at ImageTrend. “Equipping Elite with the latest updates for EMS documentation and completion of this testing with CMS aids agencies in enhancing care and recovering revenue.”

In a collaborative push to help agencies reduce operating costs, support non-transport decisions and promote better patient safety and services to patients, ImageTrend Telehealth™ is also available to facilitate video calls between EMS crews and consulting providers directly in Elite.
