LAKEVILLE, MINN. [February 24, 2016] - ImageTrend, Inc. announced it has expanded its cloud-based EKG integrations to include Physio-Control’s LIFENET® System in addition to ZOLL’s Cloud to Cloud, and is in the final stages of integration with Philips IntelliSpace Portal. Integrations with each system allows agencies to choose their EKG systems and upload the data to NEMSIS-3 certified ImageTrend Elite™. The new capability ushers in an era where Apple iPad, Android or Windows tablets can be used and monitors no longer need to be paired with or physically attached to a particular piece of computer hardware for complete documentation in the field.
“We architected the integration to be able to import EKG data into any device,” explained Kevin Ketcher, Integrations Software Engineer ImageTrend, Inc. “Data from the monitors is imported into the incident run form without any additional software needing to be installed on the client’s device. Additionally, incidents can be searched based on a single monitor, a crew, date or other factors.”
Cloud-based EKG import introduces the viability of even more computing platforms for documentation. EMS crews can document their care on a variety of devices including Apple iPad, Android and Windows-based tablets and ultimately import their EKG data without stopping to make a device-specific connection.
The Physio-Control integration works with LIFEPAK 15 and LIFEPAK 12 monitors, and the ZOLL integration works with X-Series monitors. The Philips integration will be available with the June 2016 update to ImageTrend Elite. ImageTrend also has corded integrations available for legacy models and monitors from other manufacturers.
